Blackberry liquor is one of the most popular drinks for all of us, regardless of being alcoholic or not. At some stage we have all tasted that delicacy that the world offers us. Blackberries are small berries that are usually collected between the months of August and September.
Fruit liqueurs are usually the most delicious and acclaimed ones by the public. They are spirit drinks, usually sweet, made up of alcohol, sugar, aromatic essences and other ingredients. These liquors can be elaborated with peaches (and nothing else) are combining several fruits, such as a mixture of cherries, strawberries and raspberries.
Depending on the specific product and liquor, the preparation, its recipe and the ingredients used during its elaboration may vary.
What are spirits?
“Spirits” are understood to be drinks that have undergone a distillation process from wine or some other fermented fruit or plant. The alcohol content of these drinks is higher than that of beer and wine. This alcoholic liquid is designed for human consumption, with minimum concentrations of 15% ABV.
Although you might not have heard this term much, many alcoholic beverages that we consume are considered spirits. For example:

- Aguardiente
From Their Origins
It was in the 15th century that spirits started to be drunk more for enjoyment than for medicinal purposes. As the years went by, the most popular drinks of that time were traded internationally. There were drinks that could withstand long boat trips and whose properties improved over time. Perhaps this was the reason behind the discovery that wooden barrels were great for preserving and transporting these beverages.
